West Brom close to signing Rangers captain Barry Ferguson


A report today has said that the Rangers captain Barry Ferguson has been in talks with West Bromwich Albion regarding a summer move to the relegated side.

The Sun says that he was a guest at this weekends game against Liverpool at the Hawthorns, and after negotiations has told Baggies boss Tony Mowbray that he is happy to play for them next season.

They think that Rangers will sell Ferguson for just £1m if he agrees to move south.

The 31 year-old has fallen out with many Scotland fans after he was caught on camera making rude gestures to the TV cameras.
